Sustainable Northwich is a community group of local people working together to share ideas
and create positive changes in Northwich to combat the Climate & Ecology Emergency.

Everyone can get involved to help create a better, greener future in Northwich.

We are a Transition Town?  Check out this short video.

Come to our monthly meetings and read 'VOLUNTEERING' to find fun ways to get involved.
We care for Dane Valley Community Orchard and Rod's Secret Garden.

Do get in touch, or join us as a member (it's completely free).

About Us...

Sustainable Northwich is a local group who want to make Northwich a better place for everyone.

We bring people together to inspire, encourage, connect, support our community as we self-organise and start making the 'transition' to a carbon free future.

Northwich is directly affected by Climate Change.  Increasingly, frequent flooding has damaged our town  and destroyed homes and businesses.  In January 2021, another devastating flood hit the town. But this time our community stood up and people started asking "Why?" and "What are the solutions?"

The conversation has started.  We are welcoming local people to come together, share experience, knowledge and ideas.  By working in partnership with decision makers we can ask for change that will protect our town from environmental extremes.  This will mean changes in how we travel, shop and create energy.  We are helping our communities to be ready by imagining a better, healthier, greener future.

Would you like to support us?

We aim to spend as little as possible and rely on donations of time to get things done. Gifting is a wonderful way to support us, so if you have anything you would like to give away, we would be very grateful.
In the past we have been given furniture, plants, seeds, containers, ideas and even tea-bags!

Unfortunately, there are a few things which we can't get for free. A donation is a great help in funding our basic running costs. Donate now and we will be able to benefit from gift aid too.
