Dane Valley Orchard @ Dane Valley Lakes off ShipBrook Road
Directions: 14 Marlowe Rd. Rudheath. CW9 7GA - footpath runs alongside this house and a hedge. Go through the silver kissing-gate, under the railway and the orchard is immediately on your left. Open for you to explore everyday. Cosy clothing and outdoor boots are recommended.
Dane Valley Community Orchard is a community space provided by the Dane Valley Fishery. We care for nature and learn to grow fruit which is shared. Art, craft and wood skills and activities are on offer.
Join our volunteers every fortnight on MONDAYS.
Please contact us to check the date of our next Monday session.
The project is supported by 'Transition Northwich Branching Out' with practical support from Grozone Community Garden with expert advice from Pete Attwood.
Our aim is to create a beautiful space to be enjoyed by everyone with free food and fun learning activities.
We've come a very long way since the orchard was planned and planted in 2010; as you can see in this video
After last year's restoration project we are ready to invite groups and schools to explore and enjoy the orchard.
Please email us if you'd like to find out more about visiting*.
