“Blessed are creative people: poets, misfits, writers, mystics, painters,
for they teach us to see the world through different eyes.”
- Jacob Nordby
Art projects are fun, can involve lots of people and can transform our town and gardens!
In 2021, we will be painting giant plant pots in the Library Garden, creating bottle top murals and hope to work with schools and community groups to decorate the new market development. We hope to run regular 'Explore Workshops' after the success of our willow craft in October. If you have ideas for a project or would like to join in, please contact us. |
Our local 'eco' artists are creative and environmentally conscious...
Northwich has a thriving creative community.
Many of our local artists carefully consider the impact of their practice on the environment and are resourceful in the materials they use. By supporting local artists you are directly helping to make Northwich a creatively diverse and vibrant town and can enjoy artwork that celebrates and supports the natural world around us.

"I have always worked with recycled cardboard and paper mache. My work is made almost completely from recycled materials and I can reuse the clay I use to sculpt each face. During lock-down, I was making animal costumes for a local carnival which was postponed, so I launched Mache Murals. I wanted to make something colourful to cheer up my neighbours and their children. I love working with each customer to create something that is fun, personalised to them and has a very low impact on our environment"
