Transition Northwich are keen to find a venue to call home!
A HUB would allow us to offer a wide variety of activities, talks and film events and create a welcoming community space.
Discussion is an integral part of our work and a public space will allow and welcome the whole community to contribute ideas and feel involved in the 'green' evolution of the town. We can host a series of informative talks to enhance understanding of the need for environmental renewal and give positive examples of carbon reduction projects and resilient communities around the world. These talks can form an educational toolkit and can be tailored to be age-appropriate for young people and families.
At the Hub, we can offer a new programme of skill sharing activities such as sewing, craft and arts to contribute to the person-centred cultural richness of the town. Many of our members are active in the well-being and visual arts and we can curate exhibitions that celebrate our local landscape, wildlife and thriving communities.
